Claudia Perez was born in Caracas, Venezuela, and migrated to San Jose, California at the age of 14. A year later, moved to Miami where she attended Miami Killian Senior High School and graduated from graduated from G. Holmes Braddock Senior High School. Ms. Perez Obtained a bachelor’s in Business Education/Management Information Systems, then married and became a stay home mom for five years. In 2007, she obtained her teaching certificate and worked to obtain her master’s in Curriculum and Instruction with Reading. Became Rookie Teacher of the Year for Dr. Rolando Espinosa K-8 Center and three years later became the Teacher of the Year. In 2016 became a Transformational Instructional Coach at Arcola Lake Elementary School and obtained her second master’s in Educational Leadership. Ms. Perez became the PD Liaison for the PLST team at Arcola Lake Elementary School, EESAC Recording Secretary, STEAM Liaison, part of the Leadership Team and teacher/coach. Ms. Perez has won many hats and is delighted to be part of the Charles R. Hadley Elementary School family.
